DAY 94 - 22/05/2010 - Howard Springs, NT

Today was declared a Fiji day. This means we stay in and around the pool all day, eating, drinking, sunbaking, reading and swimming. We are not allowed to do anything else.

We had a very relaxing day and polished off a great day with lamb chops on the bbq and a few alcoholic beverages.

We met a young family from the Sunshine Coast who are staying here for a couple of days. Aaron and Michelle have 2 daughters aged 4 and 3 and are also travelling around the country. We enjoyed a few drinks with them.

Tonight Alicia enjoyed playing a game of toad chucking with some boys in the park. What they do is they tie 2 cane toads by the foot together with some fishing wire, allowing space between the 2 toads. They then throw the toads up into the tree until they get snagged on a branch. They managed to get about 10 toads up there. It looked like a Xmas tree. Aaron taught them how to do this.
