We played dodge the ranger this morning and left the camp ground as soon as we packed up.
Everyone got hammered with mosquito bites throughout the night, especially poor Alicia who seemed to have gotten the most bites.
We exit Litchfield park and drive south in the direction of Adelaide River to do the croc jumping boat ride. It would of been smart to first check exactly where this croc jumping thing is because as it turns out we drove 28km in the wrong direction. The Adelaide River croc jumping boats are near Howard Springs which is to be our next stop over and is North of Litchfield Park.
We head back north and arrive in Howard Springs.
The caravan park is very nice and we are well positioned here. They have placed us right next to the playground, pool and bbq area.
There is lots to see and do in Darwin but we plan on taking it slow. The idea is to stay here 2 to 3 weeks which should give us plenty of time to see the sites and relax.
The weather is hot and balmy, day and night. This time we are at a powered site and have our air con running constantly. The last few places we have stayed at did not have powered sites and we really missed the luxary of the air conditioner. Its nice to have use of the microwave also.
The girls have played all day in the playground and in the pool and are due for an early night.
