DAY 64 - 22/04/2010 - Coober Pedy, SA

I am up most of the night because of Taylah's cough, locals yelling out abuse and dogs barking. I could hear arguments in the distance. Someone had been locked out of their house.

I think its time to get Warren and the girls up to the hospital and get their coughs sorted out. This will be the 3rd opinion for Taylah and 2nd opinion for Alicia and Lilly. Hopefully this time a doctor will get it right. Warren has also joined the others with coughing fits. I am the only one, touch wood, that hasn't got it.

At the hospital we get seen to pretty much straight away. Apparently all the girls are suffering from croup and Waz has bronchittis. We get enough antibiotics to cure a small country and hopefully we will see results very soon.

We treated ourselves to lunch at John's Pizza and Pasta restaurant. The manager at the Big 4 gave it a big wrap. The restaurant seemed to be the most decent looking above ground structure in town and the food was delicious.

After lunch we visited the underground Catholic Church, the underground pub called the Desert Cave Hotel and an underground opal jewellery store. All were very beautiful and unique.
