We left Alice Springs this morning and we are planning on driving as far as Devils Marbles.
We cross the Tropic of Capricorn.
Here's a capricorn at the Tropic of Capricorn
And then we come to a town called Aileron which has these massive Aboriginal statues. One of a man on top of the hill and one of a woman with child on ground level. These were amazing to see. I had seen photos before and couldn't wait to see them for myself up close.
We arrive at the Devils Marbles and are pretty impressed with this landmark. We find a great posy right at the foot of them. The girls can't wait to climb them but first they have to finish their school work.
Once all school work is completed it is now playtime. We all climb them and Alicia and Taylah get quite gutsy and climb right up on top of some massive boulders. Taylah actually got stuck up one and Warren had to come to her rescue.
The only downfall to this excellent choice of campsite is the toilet. Its a ditch and the worse smell I have ever come across. I think the devil himself took a dump here.
