Lilly has been hard to deal with all morning. She really knows how to break your spirit.
By the late afternoon, things got a little better.
Alicia, Taylah, Jasmine and Jade decided that they would set up a shell stall outside our van and sell all the beautiful shells they had collected yesterday at Cape Leveque.
They made up posters and put them up throughout the van park.
They used some of the shells and sand dollars to make necklaces, bracelets and anklettes. The sand dollars proved to be quite popular and they sold quite a few of them. All the oldies in our street thought they were so cute and clever with their shell stall and were their best customers even paying more than the advertised price.
Tonight we treated the girls and took them to the Broome carnival. They got a showbag each and a ride each. They chose the Gravitron ride and the Bubble Gum showbag. You pay the Broome surcharge on everything here. Rides were $9 each and showbags were close to $20.
We all enjoyed the fireworks display at 9pm.
