Having breakfast
We first go to the visitor centre to get some ideas on the various walks to do.
There are so many to do here but we are leaving tomorrow. The ranger suggested the Kalamina Gorge walk to be suitable for children. There are a lot of walks here that are difficult and or require abseiling which obviously we cannot do. The two gorges that I really wanted to see require abseiling into them. Its a shame because I have seen photos of these places and they look amazing.
So Kalamina Gorge it is. Its a 3km walk and its a medium grade difficulty.
The Kalamina Gorge trail was fun. The trails were fairly undisturbed natural environment. It was not signposted at all which made it sometimes difficult to know which way to go but we just followed the water and that got us to where we needed to be.
Some parts were quite tricky but we did it.
We had some morning tea at the end and then we walked back to our waiting car.
On our way back to camp we bumped into Chris and Leigh. We pulled over and had a quick chat. They are currently staying at Tom Price which is about an 1 hours drive from our camp ground. It was nice to see them again and what a spin out to bump them here.
This afternoon we managed to squeeze in part of the Dales Gorge rim walk and we viewed Circular Pool from the lookout above. The view from the gorge rim was spectacular.

We really enjoyed the exercise today and rewarded ourselves to cold showers at the visitor centre. Brrrrr. There is no way the girls would have cold showers, so warm bucket baths back at the van for them.
Another cold night but not as cold as last night.
