DAY 186 - 22/08/2010 - Geraldton, WA

No plans were made for today.

I spent all morning updating our blog and Waz and the girls surf YouTube.

We had to get out and do something so we thought we would take the girls to the museum.

The museum was only small but very interesting. There was a section dedicated to ship wrecks. This areas history is filled with stories of ships that wrecked along the reef coast in particular the Batavia ship wreck. Lilly in particular liked the dressed skeleton on display at the front entrance and the huge stuffed red kanagaroo in one of the displays.

This brings new meaning to the phrase 'skeleton staff'.

The girls watched a sci-fi film on the 'Honey Bee' but left before the end as it got boring.

Quiet night of footy, nachos and scotch.

Really cold tonight. Around 2 - 3 degrees.
