DAY 160 - 27/07/2010 - Coral Bay, WA & Carnarvon, WA

When we are packed and ready to leave our French neighbours bid us farewell. They are really lovely, friendly people. As it turns out they own a private highschool in France. So its safe to say that it seems they are doing well for themselves.

We leave Coral Bay and head for Carnarvon.

We arrive in Carnarvon and head straight to the visitor centre to get info on things to do here, places of interest and more importantly caravan park listings. Its a busy time of year and caravan vacancys are scarce so the kind lady calls some for us and checks availabilities.

We will be staying at the Coral Coast Caravan Park located right in the city centre. We are only planning on staying here for a couple of days so we quickly set up so we can go out for a drive around town and check out the place.

Carnarvon is a pretty town. There is a mixture of new and old houses here. A lot of the new houses are situated on canal blocks and there are huge palm trees everywhere.

Today we also drove out to see the longest jetty in the North West of WA, the One Mile Jetty.

We ended the day with some grocery shopping then home to cook dinner.

Its a cold night.
