DAY 166 - 02/08/2010 - Murchinson River, WA & Kalbarri, WA

Kalbarri is a quiet, small and pretty coastal town. The caravan park we have checked into is directly across from the water.

After we set up camp Waz and Rod go off to play golf and I take the girls and Josh for a drive siteseeing along the coastline. We stopped at various lookouts to see the beautiful scenery.

The waves today are quite big and rough looking. Definately no swimming today. Its way too rough for us. So instead I took them down to Blue Pools, to play in the sand. Here we met up with Chris and Caleb. They rode their bikes down. The kids played while Chris and I chatted away.

After dinner we played cards till late while the kids hung out in the vans playing and watching movies. Our friends invited another couple they had met recently who are from Port Stephans in NSW and they also joined us tonight. It was a fun night. Lots of laughs.

Today I received a text message that Fran and Saman were engaged. We are all extremely happy with the news. We've always felt Saman as being a part of our family. They've just made it official now. Congratulations guys.
