DAY 264 - 07/11/2010 - Sydney, NSW (Schofields)

Today, 2 days before her actual birthday, we had a picnic at Rouse Hill Regional Park in honour of Taylah's 8th Birthday. Poppy John, Aunty Amanda, Uncle Jason and cousins Maddy and Lathan and some of our closest friends joined us for a bbq and cake. A great excuse to have a get together again.

Enjoying that Aunty Amanda?

Taylah has the first hit.

Lilly has a go too.

Maddy put her everything into her hit.

All the kids had at least a couple of goes each and then it exploded and it rained chocolates, lollies and small gifts. Everyone scrambled for the goodies.

The kids had an absolute ball hitting the pinata, playing in the playground then out on the oval for some friendly cricket.

There was some inter playground trouble with some threats and bad language from some older girls who thought they could put it over our girls, which they could cause they were close to or in their teens. Leah and I put a stop to that and boy did they change their tune in a hurry.

The weather turned out fantastic as forecasted which is a big change from yesterdays cold and wet day.

The celebrations continue this evening with some ten pin bowling fun with my family.

We invited Josh along and the kids get their own lane.

Lilly busted for ball tampering.
