As we drive along we come across fields of wild flowers.
We left beautiful Streaky Bay this morning and drove south and around the point to Port Lincoln. The caravan park we checked into is right on the water and it has its own jetty. We are informed that squid is a popular catch off this jetty.
We quickly set up and then headed into town. We firstly drove over to the marina and it is choc full of trawlers. Next stop Repco to get brake pads for the Pajero and then the camping and fishing shop to buy some squid jigs.
There are a group of kids jumping off the towns main jetty into the water. Its pretty hot today. The temps reached mid 30's. Apparently this is unusually hot weather for October here. Mid 20's is the norm around this time. We don't care and welcome the heat.
Last stop Woolys for groceries then back home to camp.
Lilly and I get dinner organised while Waz and the girls go squidding off the jetty.
Taylah is the only one who manages to catch a squid but the girls are keen to try their hand at squidding again tomorrow. They had lots of fun.
