We took our time getting organised this morning. Waz and I enjoyed cuppa's on our chairs outside and took in the scenery for the last time.
We topped up on fuel at the Nullarbor Roadhouse and our next scenic stop is the Head of Bight.
We pay our entry fee and walk down to the viewing platform. There is a mummy whale and her calf frolicking in the water and we watch them for a while.
Then we check out all viewing points of the Bight. I think the views at the various lookouts we saw yesterday, especially the one that was closed were just as good as the view from here.
Its a fight at the bight
We stop at Penong, the home of the 100 windmills, for a bacon and egg lunch. The girls enjoy a play in the nearby playground.
Its almost sunset by the time we finally set up camp at Perlubie Beach. Its a free stay and it was a little difficult to find. It was listed in the Camps 5 book but the directions didn't make sense. A kind local gave us directions and he informed us that we weren't the only ones having trouble finding the place today.
There are 3 other caravans already set up when we arrive. There are toilets but no showers as the book suggests but its really nice here and we are happy to stay and put off showers for one more night.
There is an old playground right on the beach that the girls play on while we watch the sunset.
