DAY 220 - 25/09/2010 - Margaret River, WA

Its our last day in Margaret River and we spend it with our Carnie friends driving around sight seeing. We visit local beaches including Gracetown. Marie thinks Gracetown is cursed because it is actually an ancient Aboriginal massacre site and has been plagued with past tragedies such as shark attacks and a cliff collapse, killing 14 people who were spectators at a surf carnival.

A lunchtime sausage sizzle in a nearby park.

Simon and Marie brought us to a place where you can find abaloni off the rocks. He tried to get us some but was unsuccessful. Apparently its a bit early in the season for abaloni.

Here Simon tries to get some abalone off the rocks.

We all head back to camp and I cooked everyone dinner and Marie surprised us with dessert. Its a typical carni night of some great wine, great company, plenty of food and lots of laughs.

After dinner we all played charades with the kids until the footy started. The Dragons played tonight and it was an important win for them. What a second half!......Great game!
