Mandurah is a fairly new looking city with lots of construction going on.
Cafes, restaurants, ice-creameries, drinking holes and small flashy boutique shops line the wharf and overlook the marina. There are apartments on the canals with their own private jettys and some really expensive looking boats moored in the water. Its a weekday and there are people working on construction sites here and there. I think it may be school holidays because there are a few kids about but all in all its fairly quiet. We walk around and scope the area for a nice place to have lunch at.
Mandurah WA
We settle on Ninos Fish Bar Restaurant purely because they wrap their takeaways in paper and somehow that always makes the food taste better and it was the busiest place, which is usually a good sign.
We enjoy a delicious feast of fish, squid and chips on the outside deck by the marina.
Lilly is really enjoying that chip.
There isn't much else to do here so with full bellys we head back to Renee's.
We drop the car off at the house and take the girls for a walk down the shops to burn off our lunch and to get ingredients for tonights dinner. Homemade pizzas. mmmmmm gotta love homemade pizzas.
