DAY 218 - 23/09/2010 - Dunsborough, WA & Margaret River, WA

We leave Dunsborough this morning but not without stopping off at the Amberley Estate Vineyard for some mid morning wine tasting and pick up some goodies. Next stop, Margaret River Dairy Co for some cheese and yoghurt tasting. We buy some yummy cheese to go with our wine and a tub of fresh berry yoghurt for the girls.

The town of Margaret River is not that far and we get there by lunchtime and check into the caravan park.

Alicia supervisors while Lilly gets the site cleaned up and ready.

We eat lunch, I bake a date loaf and then we head off to do some sight seeing along the coastline.

We drive up and check out the many lookouts between Prevelly Park and Gas Bay. Fantastic views along here.

Where the river meets the ocean.

Margaret River is so pretty. The vegetation is lush and vibrant green surrounded by ground cover of wild lillys in some places. The town is posh looking with boutiques, cafes and old buildings along the main drag.

Alicia finally spends her birthday money today on a Rip Stik. She was stoked about this as we finally gave into her and let her buy one.

This afternoon we thoroughly enjoy an entree of cheese and wine before our bbq dinner.
