Surprise, surprise, the rain followed us to Coffs.
We decided to get out for the day and took a day trip to Nymboida to check out Russel Crowe's Museum of Interesting Things. Its his own private collection of movie and sports memorabilia.
We were following a map and took an unsealed road which looked like a short cut through the forest. Bad idea. After 30 min into it the track started getting narrower and the forest denser so we decided to turn around and go back on the main road. My bad.
We finally arrived. Nymboida is set in the Coffs Hinterland. Surrounded by mountains, banana plantations and rushing rivers. Everything was so green and pretty. It took about 2 hours to get there.

The museum was only very small. From the outside it looked like an old weathered rustic wool shed but inside was newly renovated. Polished timber and rustic furnishings throughout.
The displays were pretty cool. To name a few, there were various props from his films, cricket and football sports memorabilia and a Rabbitohs chopper personally made by Orange County Choppers.
