The Spectacular Croc Jumping cruise on the Adelaide River started at 1pm. What a fantastic experience, one I will never forget in a hurry. I was a little scared and felt intimidated by these prehistoric creatures. The girls really enjoyed watching the crocs jump up for there buffalo feed. One croc in particular bit our boat and headbutted the bottom of it.
The birds of prey flying down to have a feed was also great to watch. The bird was a White-bellied Sea Eagle which is the second largest bird of prey in Australia. The other birds swooping down catching meat mid air were Kite birds.

Back at Howard Springs, Leigh and I went to the local pub for a couple of drinks and played bingo. I didn't win anything but Leigh won a couple of things. The walk home that night was a little daunting. The pub is only about 500m away from the van park but there were no street lights lighting the way and we had to walk past swampy pond areas which have crocs in them. The van park we are staying at, have in the past, found crocs in their pool which they believe come from these nearby swamps. Made it home unscathed, phew.
