DAY 16 - 05/03/2010 - Agnes Banks, NSW

Had the best organised morning in a long time. Got lots of school work done. We also visited Mick and Nicole today and finally got to see their new little addition....Koby. Very cute guys....a job well done!

Later that evening Waz and I went out to dinner with Mel and Ben. We had a good laugh about the old days. As always Mel and I are never short of a conversation and could go on all night. Those who know us I am sure will agree. Cant wait to catch up again.

The girls had a great night with their Aunty's and Uncles. Rev'd up on junk and still up when we got home. They love hanging out with them.

DAY 15 - 04/03/2010 - Agnes Banks, NSW

Lucky for the girls more school work and sorted my blog page....finally.

Lilly got into the girls toiletry bags and she decided to squeeze their soap and their toothpaste thru their bags. I had to pull their bags apart and clean everything.

Nothing else exciting or painful to report except I made a smashing curried snags. Yay for me.

DAY 14 - 03/03/2010 - Agnes Banks, NSW

We went for a visit over to Amanda's house. Kids got to catch up with their gorgeous cousins Maddison and Lathan and the little ones played dress ups. Dont they just look so cute.

Alicia had a movie date with my sister Liv today and they were going to watch Avatar. Alicia has already seen it but Liv hasn't. While they were at the movies Taylah was going to stay at Nonna Rosy's house for a cook fest and Waz, Lilly and I were going to check out the new Rouse Hill shopping centre.

DAY 13 - 02/03/2010 - Agnes Banks, NSW

We are still at Adam and Dani's house. I have more washing to do and the girls have lots of school work to catch up on. They are not too thrilled at so much school work but we want to use this time to get it all up to date so the rest of the trip can be more relaxed.

Leah and Rowy came over for a visit. It was nice to see them again. We are planning on going over their house for a bbq before we leave.

It doesn't feel like we have started our trip yet. It probably won't feel like it until we leave familiar Sydney ground. I think we are ready to head off and experience this adventure. We can't wait and are very excited with the unknowing.

We've had to do a few things to the van and car for the big trip. I think we are pretty much set to go.

We had a lovely dinner and some wine with Adam and Danielle. They don't get home from work until pretty late so I have been trying to spoil them with ready made home cooked meals and a clean house. Its the least we can do to repay their hospitality.

The only downfall from staying at their house is they don't have kids so their house is not child proof. Lilly keeps getting into Dani's bathroom cupboard and opening nail polish bottles or getting into the makeup. She has decided to paint the whole top of her foot pink. Dani and Adam have been very forgiving of Lilly but she is doing our head in.

DAY 12 - 01/03/2010 - Agnes Banks, NSW

Spent today catching up on washing and school work.

Nonna Rosy and Nonno Tony popped in for a visit today and brought some lunch for us. Amanda popped over later that night.

DAY 11 - 28/02/2010 - Agnes Banks, NSW

Went to Darling Harbour to watch my sister Dani and Saman compete in Dragon Boat racing. Saman was a last minute ring in. All the family were there to watch them race.

We got there late and missed the first race. We went for a wander around the shops while we waited for their next race. The girls enjoyed some ice-cream and they also got their face painted. There was a lot going on because of the Chinese New Year celebrations hence the Dragon Boat races.

Unaware, they actually brought the race forward so we only got to see the end of their last race as we were walking back to the group. They did not make the finals. We watched the finals and GHD was declared the winner. The atmosphere here was buzzing.

Kids enjoyed themselves and they got to see Darling Harbour.

We had dinner at Warren's Dad's house tonight. The girls got to spend some time with Poppy.

DAY 10 - 27/02/2010 - Agnes Banks, NSW

We went to mums for lunch and a get together with the family. Cant get enough of my mum's cooking. After lunch we all ended up at Peachtree Tavern for drinks, dinner and a flutter on the TAB. Scoob and Dani also came along. Had a great night.

DAY 9 - 26/02/2010 - Katoomba, NSW & Agnes Banks, NSW

We visited Katoomba today. We saw the 3 sisters and had a ride on the cable skyway. Amazing views of the valleys, cliff faces and waterfalls. Got some great pics.

Funny story - At Echo Lookout there was an elderly Aborigine basker didgeridoo player. He was painted all over and in authentic dress. Just before he was about to start playing he pulled a mobile phone out of his underdaks and placed it on his kangaroo pelt blanket. That was probably one of the funniest things I have seen in a long time.

We left Katoomba and headed straight to my sisters house where we planned on staying for the next few days. We arrived there in the afternoon but Adam and Danielle were still at work.

We drove to the Ettamoga for dinner and drinks. Amanda, Jason, Maddison, Lathan, Renee and Devin were going to meet us there and join us for dinner. The Ettamoga has a large play area for the kids which they thoroughly enjoyed. The food was great, the drinks went down well and there was a live band playing.

Whitey and Josh joined us later in the night. It was nice to see them all again.

Headed back to Danielle's in time to see Dani, Fran, Liv, Adam and Saman. They were waiting for us to get back from the pub. We had a couple of drinks and a good laugh. It was nice to catch up with them all but I went to bed too late and I know I will be up early with Lilly tomorrow. errrr
